Your CME log stays on your device
TexasCMELog has no accounts. The profile and courses you enter are saved in your browser's local storage (localStorage) on this device only. We don't receive, see or store them on our servers. Certificates you upload aren't saved at all: each file is read in your browser to prefill the form, then discarded.
How certificate reading works
When you upload a certificate, your browser downloads two open-source libraries from the jsDelivr CDN (cdn.jsdelivr.net): pdf.js for PDFs, or Tesseract.js for photos, along with its English text-recognition data. That download happens only when you upload. It's an ordinary file request, so jsDelivr sees standard request details like your IP address, but your certificate is never sent to jsDelivr or to us. The text is read on your device. Your browser may cache the libraries and recognition data for the next time.
What that means for you
Clearing your browser data, using private browsing, or switching devices will erase your log. Use Backup to save a JSON file and Restore backup to load it. Anyone with access to this browser profile can see your log, so avoid shared computers. Certificates can include your license number and NPI, so keep your backup file private. Don't enter any patient information.
What we do collect
We don't run analytics, ad trackers or cookies on TexasCMELog. Our host, Cloudflare Pages, processes standard request data (like IP address) to deliver the site. If we add privacy-friendly analytics later, we'll name the tool here first. If you use "Report an error", we receive only what you type there. Email reminders aren't live yet. When they launch, they'll be opt-in, and we'd store only your email and renewal month with our newsletter provider, never your CME log.
Delete everything
On the tracker, Erase my data clears your log from this browser immediately.
No selling or sharing
We don't sell data, run ad trackers, or share your log with TMB, CE Broker or anyone else. We can't, because we never have it.
